Oh My Gourd: Pumpkin Painting Could Be A Favorite Halloween Tradition

Pumpkin painting is no “hocus pocus” around Oxford. This no-carve idea can take your pumpkin to a whole new spooky level. Sometimes, carving pumpkins can be more of a hassle but fear no more. All you will need is a pumpkin, paint, paintbrushes and some spooktacular creativity!

This video takes an inside look at how some Ole Miss students express their Halloween creativity through pumpkin painting. From dancing skeletons to hedgehogs and minions, painting a pumpkin is sure to express one’s personality and Halloween spirit.
Pumpkin painting is safe for all ages, and something the entire family can engage in. It is a great activity to decorate the house, and even better, there are no worries about the pumpkins rotting because they are carved-free. Also, it makes for a great time to break out your corniest jokes and Halloween spirit before the Halloween Day!
