Nine Oxford bars will participate in this year’s “Chug for the Jugs” charity bar crawl, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, to be held around the Square from 6-11 p.m., Thursday, October 26.
The $25 charge includes a free T-shirt and drink specials at the various bars, which include The Round Table, The Levee, The Cellar, Rooster’s, The Blind Pig, Funky’s, Frank and Marlee’s, Rafters and The Corner.
The event is sponsored by Colleges Against Cancer, a nationwide collaboration of college students dedicated to eliminating cancer by working to implement the programs and mission of the American Cancer Society.
The schedule for the bar crawl is as follows:
6 p.m.—Frank and Marlee’s
7 p.m.—Rooster’s and Funky’s
8 p.m.—The Round Table and The Blind Pig
9 p.m.—The Corner and The Cellar
10 p.m.—The Levee and Rafters
