Though the official end of the southeastern music festival season came to an end with Sloss Music Festival in Birmingham in July, there’s still one more music lovers can catch before Halloween.
Mempho Music Festival will be held Oct. 6-7 at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis and features big name artists like Beck, Post Malone, Janelle Monáe and Nas.
Tickets are selling fast, according to Kendall Deflin, communications director for the festival, but teachers and students can snag a BOGO ticket deal at checkout by using the codes “FOCUS” and “GOAT”, respectively.
“We want to reward our learning students of the world with the opportunity to attend Mempho Music Festival this fall,” Deflin said. “By entering the code on our ticketing page, you will unlock an exclusive BOGO discount for all GA and VIP ticket types.”
The festival pays homage to Memphis’ unique role in shaping and influencing global music culture and was created to blend today’s best contemporary sounds with the city’s storied musical heritage, according to the website.
