OPD Looking for Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run Saturday Night

The OPD is looking for the driver of the white truck that was involved in a hit-and-run wreck Saturday.

Investigators with the Oxford Police Department are still searching for a man who ran away from a wreck site Saturday night before law enforcement officers arrived.

The wreck was reported at 8:41 p.m. Saturday on County Road 101 at Chrestman Drive. A white pick-up truck hit another vehicle head-on and the driver ran from the scene. One of the victims had to be extricated out of the vehicle. 

He is described as Hispanic man wearing a white shirt and could be suffering from injuries. OPD also said that suspect might have been Highland Square earlier that night.
