Jim Henson's Favorite Muppet: Kermit the Frog

Leland native Jim Henson created The Muppets. He responded to those who asked that he’d had two close friends growing up, both named Kermit. Of all his puppets, Kermit the Frog was his favorite due to it small size and light weight that would not tire his arm when performing.
