Nelly to Replace Jason Derulo at Spring Concert
The Student Activities Association announced yesterday afternoon that Jason Derulo will no longer be performing at the Spring Concert in the Grove. Instead, Grammy Award-winning artist Nelly will be headlining the event.
Nelly is famous for his hit songs ‘Hot in Herre’, ‘Country Grammar’, ‘Grillz’, and featured on the popular country song ‘Cruise’ by Florida-Georgia Line, among many other chart-topping hits. His latest album “M.O.” was released in 2013. He is ranked as the fourth best-selling rap artists in American music history.
Derulo is unable to perform at the concert due to a sudden death in his family. Travis Porter and Fly Panda will still be performing.
The Spring Concert will be held on the Grove Stage this Friday, April 4 at 8:30 p.m.
